It's actually one of the most gentle rides there...you really don't feel the effects of the force like the large coasters...all my wife and I could do was giggle through the whole thing...it's pretty fun...good luck!!

i never rode an upside down rollercoaster untill yesterday but i rode the scream weaver first and figured that if i can ride that i can ride anything so i rode Vortex 5x, Top Gun (now its After Burn but inside a sign says Top Gun) 4x and the borg 2x...oh yeh did i mention da first time i rode vortex and top gun i put my hands up after the first loop on both but top gun was hard to move lol

Loved going to the pavilion. I cant believe they tore it down. Although I havent seen it yet. I did hear about the Hard Rock Park but hear it is really expensive. Go to Cedar Point in Sandusky OH if you love coasters. I grew up on Carowinds but just about wet myself on the coasters they have at Cedar Point.

Yo. how many seats are in the row of Vortex! Knowing carowinds, i thought that most of the rides paint was chipping and stuff, but the vortex is actually real beautiful

4 seats in a row and they have a little raised bar u can stand on if u cannot get on the seat or u are to short so u can get on the bicycle seat. It hurts cause u have to put your feet on footprints and they have should things u have to put on.

In the scream weaver, are there harnesses inside the vehicle? i know there are bars that u have to hold onto, but if you let go, wont u hit your head on the rook when it goes upside down?

the centrifugal force keeps you planted in your seat the whole time...it's really the most harmless ride at the park...and one of the funnest!!

i have ridden vortex at kings island in ohio to know what it looks like plus the loops in the pic at the beginning credits and the layout of the track is nothing like the one at carowinds any idiot can see that.
