| I was on the golf team in high school and I never considered it more than a recreational hobby. PERIOD. It is fun to do and it requires skill. But a person can pretty much satisfy those needs playing miniature golf. |

| He's so right about all of that. Especially how assholes don't want anything near them that could help people. There was something like that on the local news a few months ago. People in this town were protesting against a drug rehab center. I thought I was was cynical before I got into Georges material, but shit, he sure showed me what it means to be cynical lol |

| I agree I still find this funny but golf is a fun sport and I do it to relax on a sunday after a long week...and I am by no means a rich person as I am working 2 jobs and a full time student...but I agree that almost everyone else that plays there is older and pretty arrogant except for the people I play with...and yes it requires tons of skill (most people dont know golf is tough sport...well try playing it) |

| it isn't meaningless...you probably just haven't ever played or you just really suck at it...its a relaxing sport that is fun to play...you could make these assumptions about any sport...tennis is just hitting a ball back and forth to eachother...basketball is throwing a ball through a metal ring 10 feet off the ground...its endless point made! |

| I do like golf, but it really is a fucking waste of space. So much you could do with pitch and putt course, imagine a regular size course. I can't possibly finish a full 18 hole course, it's so fucking huge. I did, and it was a fucking endurance challenge. look at how much space it takes to play basketball. What about 4 square? Now Golf. |

| are you sure...i bet its pretty close...think of all the basketball courts all over the untied states even the smaller ones...and add tennis courts in and it might be pretty close...not to mention that an indoor basketball court is already somewhat of a home because it has a roof...golf courses are out in the open |

| ok for one how is golf a racist sport?...anyone can play and you could make the same argument for something like ping pong saying that mostly asians play it...plus golfs best player isnt even white so lets just mark off that comment...golf can also get you exercise if you walk the course and I wasnt suggesting to get rid of either of those others just saying they take up room too...and lets face it miniature golf is only good for dates not for an actual sport |
